Eugena Topina joined us to share her technique for polymer clay cloissone today. We had a good turnout for a blustery winter day, and we all enjoyed learning this lovely technique.
You may have seen Eugena’s work in Polymer Cafe and Step by Step Beads. We all agreed the photos just don’t do her work justice. We had the chance to see her beautiful pendants, neckpieces and earrings in person. Just exquisite!
Eugena has refined her technique since it was first published. She shared her refinements and led us through the creation of a heart pendant. Our group is independent minded so we also produced a butterfly (Lois), a self portrait (Eileen), and an odd fairy dragonfly (yours truly.)
Over the next week or so Sue is going to join us to blog about Show and Tell. I’ll be giving out weblinks for some new claying finds. I am also expecting Ellen to join us to blog on some news from NPCG.
So stay tuned….
I’m sorry I had to miss it!
