We do not have access to our usual meeting site in March (2008).  Don’t show up at Hillman on March 16th.  WE WON’T BE THERE.

The members met on Sunday and made some lemonade out of this Lemon.  The quorum voted to take the meeting on the road for a shopping spree at our favorite Polymer Clay store, POLYMER CLAY EXPRESS.

So on March 16th, Emily will lead the members on a road trip to Damascus, Maryland.   Emily is coordinating drivers and riders.  Cost will be your share of the gas/tolls and whatever you spend for your shopping and lunch.  Email Emily at to reserve your spot.

Here’s the plan for the day:

1.             Meet at the Bally’s parking lot at 8.30 am.  [95 south, 476 north, exit 1-MacDade Blvd EAST – Bally’s is in the shopping center on the right]

.2.             PCE is 130 miles from here – about a 2.5 hour drive.

3.             Arrive around 11 am.  Shop around, eat lunch, shop again.

4.             Depart PCE at 2 pm

5.             Arrive at Bally’s around 4.30.

  1. Hurray! Do you know if there will be any studio space available? Or would that make the carpooling too difficult if everyone is slogging down their machines?

Looking forward to seeing everyone, especially those of you who couldn’t be at Synergy.

  2. All good questions, but Emily will be the one with the answers. Email her at roadtrip@papcg,org.
    Should be a great day!

  3. Lili: For us coming from Philly, this will be a shopping visit to PCE (as in children in a candy shop) as we will not have enough time (nor space in the cars, probably) to play clay.
Martha: you can take the R3 to Swarthmore. I can pick you up at the station.

  4. Hi All –
There won’t be a class there that day and there is always one classroom free to setup and play if you want… Even if it’s to play with some of the super cool tools they have!

I hope you all have fun!
