Guild Member Lenora Kandiner reminds us to take the International Polymer Clay Association (nee National Polymer Clay Guild) survey – http://www.ipca.org. Tell them what you are looking for in their organization so they can plan their future!
Rebecca from Sugarloaf Craft Festival has written to remind us of their upcoming event March 20-22:
I want to introduce you to the Sugarloaf Craft Festival in Oaks, Pennsylvania. The show will be held March 20-22 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. I think that Philadelphia Area Polymer Clay Guild participants would be interested in knowing about it and I would like to help them visit the show.
Sugarloaf Craft Festivals has long been recognized as offering the finest contemporary crafts in a festival-like setting. The works shown at Sugarloaf are featured in leading magazines, exhibited in fine galleries and museums, and acquired by prestigious collections, as well as affordable items for home and personal use.
The Sugarloaf Craft Festival at Oaks will feature more than 300 jury-selected artisans who will be displaying their unique creations in pottery and ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewelry, wood, leather, fiber, photography, painting and prints, metal, sculpture, and paper. In addition to hosting well-known artists from around the country, the festival also introduces new and emerging artists using the latest trends. The show will be the area’s best place to see the latest styles in handcrafted jewelry, wearables, furniture, art and collectibles, and items for the home and garden. I invite you to check out the show at http://www.sugarloafcrafts.com/festivals/oaks/spring/.
