And now a message from our co-president, Eileen:
Hello, again!
The February meeting was very productive. Martha presented an interesting demo on soldering and glass cutting. It set the creative juices flowing. Thank you, Martha, for your time and talents.
We had a meeting which was very productive. Here are the results:
1) Emily Squires Levine has accepted the duty of treasurer. Thank you!
2) Raffle items and volunteers are needed for May. There are tables that will have to be set up, tickets to sell and tear down. Please contact Denise to let her know what item(s) you are donating.
3) We are revamping the library. No books will be available until the start of the 2011-2012 season. The library will be streamlined and hopefully easier to manage. With this in mind, we are asking for a volunteer to be the librarian starting in September of 2011. We have decided that if the position is not filled, the library will be dissolved.
There are two master classes in the works for next year. On months we don’t have a master class, we would like a member to demo one of their techniques. May will be our fundraiser. June we would like to have a pot luck and clay related swap.
I am looking forward to seeing you in March.
Happy claying and may your artistic muse be with you.
Eileen the co-pres.
