There is no end to Arlene’s talent and enthusiasm for polymer clay! She wants to be sure any interested Guild Members (or potential Guild Members!) know about the upcoming classes and how to contact her.
Arlene’s work and contact information are on her website.
New polymer clay classes will be held on October 10th and November 17th in her Northfield, NJ [down the shore] home studio. Classes are generally from 10 am to 2 pm and cost $60 plus $15 for materials [unless you bring your own clay and tools.]
Classes are usually limited to 4 students, and registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.] You’ll go home from each class with a finished piece of YOUR own, hand made, jewelry or home decor item.
Silk Screening on Polymer Clay – Wednesday October 10
We will be using silk screens and acrylic paints to add another layer of design interest to colored polymer clays. On the left is a sample of how I’ve used silver and gold paints to silkscreen on black clay. Learn how to add layers of color and pattern to your polymer clay surface.
3 Dimensional Pendants using the “Swirl” design & other techniques – Wednesday November 17
We will use simple techniques to make dramatic pendants.
So if you share Arlene’s passion for art jewelry and want to learn more, contact her via her website link above (www.PolyGemDesigns.net). Her studio is lovely and you are sure to enjoy the day.
