There are big things planned for our November meeting! First of all, this is our first working meeting in a while, so bring your gear! Our focus is going to be on jewelry construction. Ellen Marshall says:
We’d like a few Guild members to bring a piece of jewelry – polymer or not- to exhibit an informative jewelry construction example. Each person would get 5-7 minutes to present their example in a ‘speed dating- like format. Guild members could also come with a jewelry construction question that they’d like get suggestions about. And, we’d work through that in a another speed dating round. If people bring a piece that they’re working on then they might apply something they learned during hands-on time after lunch.

I don’t know about the “speed dating” aspect of it, but the opportunity to get some feedback and suggestions from our very talented membership is well worth the price of admission. Which is, you know, free if you are a member. And, since we don’t have a guest artist this month, you can bring a friend for free, too!
That’s just part of what’s being planned….stay tuned for more announcements. Hope to see you there!
