The best-laid plans sometimes falter at first. The last two months have been a good example of that. We were unable to have our April and May meetings due to scheduling issues and me dealing with some family issues. Things are back on track now and the next few meetings are scheduled.
Join us for our June meeting at Blue Santa Beads where we’ll be demoing two faux techniques. Check out the newsletter to find out all the info on the meeting and for information on upcoming retreats.
Why A New Meeting Space?
We have moved our meetings from the Sydney Hillman building. Hillman no longer meets our needs for a variety of reasons. We to find a new space in Center City that would work but had no luck. Luckily for us, a longtime friend of the guild Sarah Caldwell was kind enough to offer us the meeting room in her lovely bead store Blue Santa Beads in Media. While the space is smaller than our old space it has many advantages including free parking, easy access to public transportation, shopping and more. There are coffee and dining choices in the same complex and a clean well lit room to meet in. It’s my hope that this change will help to revitalize the guild. March’s meeting was a huge success. I hope you’ll join us at this months meeting to check it out.
We are back to our normal schedule of meeting the third Sunday of the month. We never met in the summer in our old space partly because the air conditioning didn’t work much but since that is no longer an issue we are meeting through the summer.!!! Our next meetings are
June 17th Theme: Faux techniques
July 15th Theme: TBA
August 19th Theme: TBA
